On the French/Swiss Border

We had just crossed into Frence after hiking over the Col de Balme...what would be called
a pass in the US.  It was a long day.  We started at 8AM and got to Trient, our destination
for the evening about 4PM. But, we had a great lunch with a great view only a few yeards
from where this picture was taken. It was served by a cantankerous little old lady who
nevertheless served a very nice lunch...far above the valley, complete with wine.
