A Trek through the French and Swiss Alps 2000

 Chamonix, France

This is the view from the dinner table at our hotel the second evening in Chamonix.  We sat down to dinner on a patio of a
decent restaurant as the sun was setting.  It was already quite dark in the valley, but the Alpen Glow was at its
best on the top of the mountains. Another interactive dinner with some better French wine and we went to bed
ready for our walk from Argentier to Trient the next day.
