Grand Canyon 1985

On the Kaibab Trail

We left the Grand Canyon and the Dories at Phantom Ranch and hiked
out via the Kaibab Trail. 5,000 vertical feet and 4 1/2 hours after we started we reached
the South Rim. This was our first real hike…ever. It started a life long love of hiking.
And, as you can tell, we were only kids at the time. October 1985
