Zermatt, Switzerland

On the way to the Gornegratt above Zermatt in Switzerland.
Shortly after this picture was taken, it started to snow. Above
the tree line, with visibility about 50 feet,  and with all trail
markers covered by snow, we got lost. Patricia spotted the
Gornegratt during a break in the fog. It was straight in front of us
and about 300 feet above…up a sheer rock wall. After a significant
detour we arrived for lunch as it continued to snow. There was 8” on
the ground when we caught the train back to Zermatt.
