Austria, Italy and Switzerland ‘98

During this trip we concluded that Mayrhofen may be the best day hiking venue that we have
visited anywhere in the world. Better than Zermatt or Grindewald, better than
the Canadian Rockies, better than Nepal.  With the town at the confluence
 of a half dozen valleys it provides all types of hiking.
