Perfect arches held up the stone and kept the water running on this Roman Aqueduct constructed in the first century A.D. Bart and Connie look at the indentations used to hold the wood supports while the arches were being constructed. The large stone pieces sticking out of the walls were used to support the scaffolding during construction.
