| Another picture along the shores of Melksee
in central Switzerland. I could not resist this photo. It seemed quintessentially Swiss. The mirror like surface on the lake, the soft mossy look of the grass on the other side of the lake, the granite cliffs to the right, the small almost delicate boat on the rocky shoreline all provide a composition of tranquility, strength, extraordinary beauty and peace. Then, when you understand that we walked all day to get there, you may begin to understand why Patricia and I like this part of the world so much. |
