Concert Hall, the KKL, (Kultural and Kongress center of Luzern). This
hall was designed by French Architect Jean Nouvel who is also designing the
new Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis. The roof above the plaza joins three seperate buildings, a concert hall, a congress (convention center) and an art museum. The roof cantelivers out more than 140 feet without support. The underside is polished stainless steel to reflect the lake. A truly unique piece of architecture. |
