Italy 2000 - Cinque Terre and Tuscany
| This is the entrance to our hotel, the Antika LocandaDei Mercanti in Milan. We walked by the door a couple of times and the green sign is not the name of the hotel. The only place the name is listed is on the little gold apartment style register and call box just to the left of the big green door. Looked much more like an industrial building, but the rooms were charming once you walked up the three floors of narrow concrete stores of this "warehouse" to get to the two floors that were the hotel. It had a wonderful balcony overlooking a side street with flower boxes and chairs. A very nice place amidst the bustle of a big city. |
