Italy 2000 - Cinque Terre and Tuscany
| From the Tower high above the square of Siena, we took this picture. Patricia was a good sport to walk to the top with me. Hank and Phyllis can be seen (with a good imagination) sitting at the fountain in the center of the square. Everything in the town (except the one building directly behind the fountain) are from bricks of Siena Brown. It is an interesting square with now flowers and no grass. The brick pavers are in seven sections representing the seven factions that were in control of the town when it was built. Each section was different from all of the others.
