| After we left the Cinque Terre, we had to visit this
famous site along the way. Busses and busses of tourists, a quick lunch
in a forgettable restaurant on a square, a few photos and we were on our
way. Unfortunately because the leaning tower continues to lean ever more
they have closed it to visitors. We discovered one interesting fact I did
not know. If you look at the very top of the tower you will notice
that it is built at an angle to the rest of the tower. It was already
starting to lean as it was being built and so the very last section was
built on an angle to compensate |
